Signing MOU between Kukkiwon and Iran Taekwondo Federation
Kukkiwon and Iran Taekwondo Federation signed an MOU on 16 February 2017 to promote the martial arts of Taekwondo in Iranian territory including the Kukkiwon Poom•Dan promotion test, Taekwondo education and training program, and martial arts Taekwondo competitions.
According to this MoU, Iran Taekwondo Federation shall conduct education training courses under the negotiated course of Iran Taekwondo Federation at least twice a year, and the Kukkiwon could provide active administrative cooperation including the dispatch of instructor. The recommended instructors of Iran Taekwondo Federation will be also used in the courses
Iran Taekwondo Federation shall also hold the Kukkiwon Cup or Hanmadang event at least once a year, to activate the martial arts Taekwondo. The Kukkiwon may support administratively in accordance with the conditions and participation scale.
