24 Athletes Invited to the Female Junior Camp



At the conclusion of the Qualification Competitions of the female Junior National team, 24 athletes succeeded to enter the preparation camp of the National team for participation in 2017 Asian Junior Championships.

Totally, 62 athletes participated in this event in 10 weigh categories. The first and the second ranked athletes in each weight category and the selected athletes by the decision of the Technical Committee were eligible to enter the camp of the Junior

National team according to the following list:

-42 kg: Mahsa Alizadeh and Mahla Momenzadeh
-44 kg: Zahra Alizadeh and Fereshteh Khazaei
-46 kg: Saghar Ahadinia and Maedeh Alipour
-49 kg: Maryam Malakoutikhah and Negin Naseripour
-52 kg: Setareh Chaboki and Donya Mahmoudi
-55 kg: Kosar Asaseh and Elaheh Shafiei
-59 kg: Hadiseh Emareh and Mahvash Kalantari
-63 kg: Yaldi Valinejad and Sahar Hosseinipari
-68 kg: Negar Pourjamali and Zahra Nasirahmadi
+68 kg: Zeinam Esmaeili
Athletes invited by the Technical Committee: Mobina Shakeri and Zahra Shojaei
Moreover, Mobina Nejadkatehsari, Zahra Pouresmaeil and Mobina Babalou that succeeded in winning medals in 2016 World Junior Championships entered the camp without participating in the Qualification Competitions.
The preparation camp of the National team will start from 14 February 2017 in the Olympic Academy.
The 9th Asian Junior Championships will be held in Kazakhstan on 21-23 April 2017.
