The Annual General Assembly of Iran Taekwondo Federation



The Annual General Assembly of Iran Taekwondo Federation was held in the National Olympic Academy on 6 February 2017 for reviewing the performance of Iran Taekwondo Federation in the previous year and setting goals for the following year.

The following sport authorities were present in this event: Mohammadreza Davarzani, Deputy of the Sport Minister, Seyed Mohammad Pouladgar, President of Iran Taekwondo Federation, Homeira Asadi, Director of the Assembly Affairs in the Sport Ministry, Shahrokh Shahnazi, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee, Ahmad Gavari, General Manager of the Common Affairs of the Federations, Yazdan Moayednia, Vice-President of Iran Taewondo Federation, Mohammad Ahsaniforouz, Secretary General of Iran Taekwondo Federation, Zara Sarvi, Vice-President of the Women Committee and other members of the General Assembly.

After the Auditor and Treasurer of Iran taekwondo Federation presented their reports, the Chairman of the General Assembly, Mohammadreza Davarzani, said, ‘I have been following the activities of Iran Taekwondo Federation since 22 years ago. Kimia Alizadeh’s Bronze medal of the Olympic Games was a precious success and the successive achievements of the Taekwondo Federation in the two previous decades have raised the expectations of people from this sport. We, therefore, need to set strategic plans to guarantee our best performance in 2020 Olympic Games.’
