Iran- The Champion of World Taekwondo Team Championships 2018
Tehran Nov 2018—Iran stood on the first place in The World Taekwondo Team Championships 2018.
The World Taekwondo Team Championships was held on November in Fujairah and Iran Team after defeating Azerbaijan, China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, at the final match beat Russia 31-30 and stood on the first place of the mentioned event.
"Shahrdari Varamin" Club, was the representative of Iran Team at the The World Taekwondo Team Championships 2018.
The Iran team composition is as follow:
Athletes :Soroush Ahmadi, Mirhashem Hosseini, Sina Bahrami, Amirhossein Omidi, Mahdi Khodabakhshi. Head coach: Payam Khanlarkhani, Coach: Hashem Zanganeh, Head of Team : Seyed Hassan Mir.
Meanwhile, Fujairah 2018 World Taekwondo Team Championships is G-2 team ranking event. The following ranking points will be given to the male team, female team, and mixed gender team respectively. - 1st Placed team: 20 points - 2nd placed team: 12 points - 3rd placed team: 7.2 points - 5th placed teams: 4.32 points.
