Iran Defeats Azerbaijan at The World Team Championships Contest
Tehran Nov 2018—Azerbaijan lost to Iran at The World Team Championships Contest.
The World Taekwondo Team Championships is being held on November 24-25, and ,"Shahrdari Varamin" Club, the representative of Iran Team, defeated Azerbaijan Team 66- 58 at its first contest.
The Iran team composition is as follow:
Athletes :Soroush Ahmadi, Mirhashem Hosseini, Sina Bahrami, Amirhossein Omidi, Mahdi Khodabakhshi. Head coach: Payam Khanlarkhani, Coach: Hashem Zanganeh, Head of Team : Seyed Hassan Mir.
The next rival competitors teams which will compete with Iran will be China and Uzbekistan at its group.
Meanwhile, Fujairah 2018 World Taekwondo Team Championships is G-2 team ranking event. The following ranking points will be given to the male team, female team, and mixed gender team respectively. - 1st Placed team: 20 points - 2nd placed team: 12 points - 3rd placed team: 7.2 points - 5th placed teams: 4.32 points.
