Participation of 4 Iranian Athletes in Final GP 2018
Tehran Nov 2018-- 4 Iranian athletes will participate in Final GP 2018.
Final Grand Prix will be held on November 22-23, 2018 in Fujairah, UAE and for Iranian athletes will take part in the mentioned event.
-58kg: Farzan Ashourzadeh, Armin Hadipour
-68kg: Abolfazl Yaghoubi
+80kg: Sajjad Mardani
The mentioned athletes will participate in Final Grand Prix 2018 under the leadership of Fariborz Askari as head coach and Ali Mohammad Boshagh as coach.
The method of competition is single elimination system including Bronze medal contest and its grade is G8. Selection of athletes: Top 16 athletes per Olympic category based on the WT Olympic ranking published in November 1st , 2018. The last event before release of this ranking will be the Galeb Belgrade Trophy Serbia Open 2018.
Meanwhile, All athletes will get ranking point. The points will be reflected on WT World Ranking and WT Olympic Ranking. The ranking points per winners of the championships shall be allocated as follows: 1st place : 80 points, 2nd place 48 points and 3rd place: 28.8 points.
