Turkey Taekwondo National Team left with 8 medals in the first
international tournament of 2017.
The German Open Taekwondo Tournament, which was the first pointing tournament of the year 2017 (the WTF and the ETU have officially confirmed the German Open 2017 with the G1) on the way to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, was held in Hamburg, Germany on 21-22 January.
A total of 12 athletes, 6 male and 6 female, represented Turkey in the tournament where 963 athletes from 41 countries competed.
