Ashourzadeh, Mardani and Hajizavareh among the top athletes of the World
World Taekwondo Federation issued the first ranking of 2017 that contains the points up to the end of Dec. 2016.
According to the latest ranking, Armin Hadipour is ranked 5 in -54 kg; Farzan Ashourzadeh has the 2nd ranking of -58 kg; Abolfazl Yaghoubi stands on the 10th place in -68 kg and Masoud Hajizavareh has the 3rd rank in -74 kg.
Mahdi Khodabakhshi is ranked 5 in -80 kg; Omid Amidi has the 18th rank in -87 kg and Sajjad Mardani stands on the 3rd place in +87 kg.
In the female category, Kimia Alizadeh in ranked 8 in -57 kg; Shokraneh Izadi has the 40th rank in -62 kg; Fatemeh Rahani has the 46th rank in -73 kg and Akram Khodabandeh is ranked 19 in +73 kg.
Mahdi Khodabakhshi and Kimia Alizadeh have changed their Olympic weight categories to a higher weight category in 2017.
