IRI Men's National Team composition departing to 23rd Asian Championships was unveiled



Tehran May 2018—to participate in 23rd Asian Championships, IRI Men's National Team composition was unveiled.

According to IRI Men's National Team head coach- Fariborz Askari, the following athletes will participate in 23rd Asian Championships:
-54kg: Armin Hadipour, -58kg: Farzan Ashourzadeh, -68kg: Amirmohammad Bakhshi, -80kg: Mahdi Khodabakhshi, -87kg: Pouria Erfanian, +87kg: Saeid Rajabi
Meanwhile, the following athletes got the quota through WT President's Cup in Uzbekistan :
-54kg: Ebrahim Safari, -58kg: Hamidreza Hadian, -63kg: Soroush Ahmadi, -68kg: Mohammadsalar Vahidi, -74kg: Mahdi Jalali, -87kg: Ahmad Mohammadi, +87kg: Sajjad Mardani.

➢ Extra Quotas from WT President’s Cup-Asia Region
An athlete who wins a medal from the 1st WT President’s Cup-Asia Region held
in Uzbekistan in 2017 must submit their application form individually. Please do
not include them in their team of MNA and the athletes must register in the same
weight category that they participated in the 1st WT President’s Cup-Asia Region
with the result.

Participating athletes through extra quota by winning a medal from the 1st
WT President’s Cup-Asian Region will participate in the 2018 Asian
Taekwondo Championships individually and their ranks can be recognized at
the Championships, but their points will not be included in their MNA for the
team awards.

By the way, Asian championships, will be held on May 24th -28th 2018 in Hochiminh City, Vietnam.
