2018 Gymnasiade in Marrakech, Morocco
Jan 2018 – World Taekwondo today signed a MoU with the International School Sport Federation (ISF) in order to increase collaboration between the two organizations and ensure the continued growth of youth taekwondo around the world.
The MoU was signed by World Taekwondo President Chungwon Choue and ISF President Laurent Petrynka during an official signing ceremony at the World Taekwondo office in Lausanne.
Gymnasiade is a multi-sport games organized by International School Sport Federation (ISF), taking place every two years with participation of junior athletes from all over the world. Taekwondo became an official sport of 2018 Gymnasiade for the first time in its history. This edition, which will be held in Marrakech, Morocco on 3-8 May this year, will serve as a perfect opportunity for the junior taekwondo athletes to display their skills to the full and exchange friendship among the participants.
