IRI Taekwondo Team departed to china to participate in Grand Slam
Tehran Jan 2018—to take part in Grand Slam World Team Championships, IRI Taekwondo Team departed to china.
Wuxi 2017 World Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series Ⅴ (Team Competitions) will be held on Jan 27th in Wuxi, China and IRI Taekwondo Team that was eligible through obtaining first place in world team championships in Abidjan departed to China.
The IRI Taekwondo Team composition is as follow:
"Armin Hadipour", "Mirhashem Hosseini", "Seyyed Hossein Ehsani", "Erfan Nazemi", "Mehdi Khodabakhshi" and "Saeid Rajabi".
The mentioned team will participate in Grand Slam World Team Championships under the leadership of "Seyyed Nemad Khalifeh" as head coach, "Reza Imanzadeh" as coach and "Ali Rezaei" as physical fitness trainer.
Meanwhile, the all contests shall be carried out for 4 rounds (5 minutes of 1st round, 3 minutes of 2nd round, 5 minutes of 3 rd round, and 5 minutes of 4th round) with 1 minute break between rounds.
Modified completion rules- 4 points for valid turning kick to PSS Trunk - 5 points for valid turning kick to PSS Head - Additional 5 points when referee counts for knock down - Gam-jeom shall be declared when one foot of contestant cross the boundary line.
1st place: Trophy & USD 20,000 to the male team and gold medals to all athletes of the pertinent team, 2nd place: Trophy & USD 10,000 to the male team and silver medals to all athletes of the pertinent team, 3rd PLACES: Trophies & USD 5,000 to the male teams and bronze medals to all athletes of the pertinent team.
