Hajizavareh: I am Getting Prepared for Final Grand Prix
Masoud Hajizavareh, that is a -74 kg athlete, competes in a higher weight division in GP Tournaments.
He succeeded in winning a Bronze medal in GP, Turkey in -80 kg and added 14.4 points to his Olympic ranking. He could make this achievement in the condition that all other 3 medal winners of -80 kg competed in their own weigh category and were heavier than him.
In his first match, Masoud beat the representative of Portugal 10-3 and then overpowered his Chinese opponent in the next match. He believes that the representative of England was a clever athlete and he could defeat him 18-15 by analyzing the match and following the advice of the coach.
Hajizavareh holds rank 4 of the third Olympic category right now. He has decided not to participate in GP Manchester to give a rest to his knee and get prepared for GP Final after recovery.
