Alborz Children became National Champions in the Female Category



Alborz children won the title of the female National Children Championships while Tehran and Gilan won the second and third places respectively.

20th female National Children Championships was held on 9 June in Taekwondo House and 249 athletes from the following 29 provinces participated in it:

East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Ardebil, Isfahan, Alborz, Ilam, Boushehr, Tehran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Khorasan Razavi, North Khorasan, Khouzestan, Zanjan, Semnan, Fars, Qazvin, Qom, Kordestan, Kerman, Kermanshah, Kohgilouyeh and Boyerahman, Golestan, Gilan, Lorestan, Kish Island, Mazandaran, Markazi, Hormozgan, and Yazd.

Alborz won the title with 5 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals, 1 Bronze medal and 91 points; Tehran stood on the second place with 2 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal, 3 Bronze medals and 55 points, and Gilan won the third place with 1 Gold medal, 1 Silver medal, 4 Bronze medals and 51 points.

The 4th and 5th places went to Mazandaran and Qazvin respectively.

Shohreh Khalajzadeh from Alborz was chosen as the best coach; Mahya Moeini from Alborz received the title of the best athlete; Leila Qorbani from Gilan was awarded as the best head of team; Atousa Farahmand from Alborz and Zahra Shahriari from Tehran were chosen as the best referees; fair play team cup was awarded to Kermanshah and finally fair play trophy was awarded to Farnaz Enayat from Fars.
