Ashourzadeh Seized the Gold Medal
Farzan Ashourzadeh succeeded in winning the Gold Medal of Grand Prix, Manchester after beating the representative of China in the final round.
The second day of 3rd Grand Prix featured -58 M, -80 M and -49 F weight categories. In his march to final round, Farzan Ashourzadeh, -58 kg, routed rivals of Germany 12-0, South Korea 20-8, Mexico 11-5 and Portugal 9-6.
He finally defeated the Chinese athlete in the golden-point round.
Totally, 28 athletes competed in this weight category. Farzan is also the Silver medalist of 2nd Grand Prix which was held in Kazakhstan, 2014.
