Zavar: I Expect Medals from Both Athletes

The head coach of Juniors National team said, 'I expect medals from both athletes who are participating in the second Youth Olympic Games, however, it is not easy to predict their medal color now.'

Mohammadreza Zavar added, 'both male athletes are completely prepared for the Youth Olympic Games. This is going to be a difficult event because the best athletes from all over the world are going to gather in Nanjing. Eshaghi, -48 kg, is physically strong and prepared. He won the gold medal of the World Junior Championships some months ago. His best rivals in the Olympic Games are Chinese Taipei and Thailand. Salehimehr, the representative of Iran in 4th weight category, is slightly injured in his elbow but I hope it does not affect his performance. He has won the gold medal of Asian Championships and his strong rivals in this event are the representatives of Azerbaijan and Ukraine. I believe in both representatives of Iran and hope they could achieve the best results.'
