Ashourzadeh and Yaghoubi won the Gold and Silver Medal



On the second day of Korea Open 2014 Farzan Ashourzadeh, -58 kg, beat Abolfazl Yaghoubi 8-7 and won the Gold Medal.

In the preliminary round, Ashourzadeh defeated the representative of Russia 18-1. After that, he could overcome Vietnam 17-2, Thailand 14-3, Croatia 19-1 and Korea 12-2 before entering the final round.







On the other hand, Yaghoubi, who won the Silver Medal of -58 kg weight category, had beaten 5 rivals before ascending to the final round.
He defeated 4 representatives of Korea 20-8, 18-6, 12-3 and 12-8, and beat the representative of Belgium 12-4.
Totally, 1770 athletes have participated in Korea Open, which is a G2 event, in senior, junior and cadet categories.
