Taekwondo Athletes Setting off to Suzhou
High ranked taekwondo athletes set off to Suzhou on June 30th at 11:35 P.M. in order to participate in Grand Prix. This event will be held in Suzouh, China on 4-6 July 2014.
This is a G4 event and participants hope to gather Olympic points to get direct quota to the Olympic Games, 2016.
The following athletes will compete for Iran National team in the Grand Prix:
Hadi Mostean, -58 kg weight category
Mohammad Bagheri Motamed and Behnam Asbaghi, -68 kg weight category
Farzad Abdollahi and Masoud Haji Zavareh, -80 kg weight category
Sajad Mardani, +80 kg weight category
Bijan Moghanlou will accompany the team as head coach and Madi Bibak and Mehrdad Yousefi as coaches. Shahram Arbabi is the only Iranian referee who has been invited to this event.
