Ghavamin team became the champion of Carthage Open 2014



Carthage Open 2014 was concluded with the championship of Iran's representative.

Ghavamin team succeeded in winning 5 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals.

This event was held on 10-11 May 2014. Totally, 300 athletes from 50 countries participated in this tournament.

The second and third standings went to Tunisia and Nigeria respectively.
The medal winners of Ghavamin team in Carthage Open are according to the following:
Gold: Farzan Ashourzadeh (-58 kg), Reza Naderian (-63 kg), Omid Amidi (-80 kg), Ahmad Mohammadi (-87 kg) and Morteza Shiri (+87 kg)
Silver Medal: Hossein Bayat (-54 kg) and Jalal Khodami (+87 kg)
Bronze medal: Farzad Zolghadri (-68 kg) and Seyed Mohammad Rafiei (-74 kg)
Shokripour was the head of Ghavamin team in this event. Masoud Lashgari accompanied the team as head coach and Nourollah Khavari and Javad Fereidouni were the coaches.
Ghavamin team returned to Iran on 14 May 2014 at 10:30 A.M.
