Iran became the Champion of German Open



German Open Tournament was held in Hamburg and Iran National team participated in this event with 10 athletes.

Iran gained the first standing with 6 Gold, 1 Silver , 1 Bronze medal and 40 points.

Spain that participated in this event with 36 athletes gained the second standing with 2 Gold, 6 Silver , 3 Bronze medals and 33 points. Egypt that participated in this event with 19 athletes stood on the third place with 2 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals and 18 points.

USA, Brazil and Germany gained 4th to 6th standings respectively.

German Open which is a G1 event was held on 11 to 13 April 2014. 865 athletes from 62 countries participated in this event.
Iran team was composed of Hadi Mostean and Abolfazl Yaghoubi , -58 kg, Mohammad Bagheri Motamed and Behnam Asbaghi, -68 kg, Alireza Nasrazadani and Masoud Hajizavareh, -74 kg, Farzad Abdollahi and Mahdi Khodabakhshi, -80 kg, Yousef Karami, -87, and Sajad Mardani +87 kg. Bijan Moghanlou, Mahdi Bibak , Mehrdad Yousefi and Gholamhassan Zolghadri accompanied the team as coaches and head of National teams organization.
On 1st day 4 representatives of Iran won 2 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal. On 2nd day 3 representatives of Iran gained 2 Gold medals.

Alireza Nasr Azadani: Gold medal
Yousef Karami: Gold Medal
Mohammad Bagheri Motamed: Gold medal
