He said, ‘Iranian Taekwondo athletes have achieved 597 Medals in the Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cup, Asian Games and Asian Championships so far’.

He added, ‘Another achievement of Iran Taekwondo Federation is holding Leagues regularly and establishing the Taekwondo University. 420 students are studying in this Educational Complex right now’.
Mr. Pouladgar mentioned the efficient role of Dr. Choue, the President of WTF, in the development of this sport during his leadership in the recent 10 years, which contributed to the great status of this sport in the International level and gaining identity in the Olympic Games.

Mr. Hee also mentioned Iran as one of the most powerful and well equipped countries in Taekwondo which is only comparable to South Korea.
He said the first time he saw the President of Iran Taekwondo Federation was in an interview Mr. Pouladgar had with Mookas News Service when Mr. Pouladgar said, ‘Korean players should learn from Iranian athletes’. He declared after observing the great facilities and strong athletes in Iran, he understood why Mr. Pouladgar had given such a comment in his interview.
He added upon his return to South Korea, he would alarm the President of Korean Taekwondo Federation the development of Taekwondo in Iran.
Mr. Hee appreciated all the efforts that Iran Taekwondo Federation has made for the expansion of Taekwondo, which is also his favorite sport and has a lot of fans in Iran, and finally paid a visit to the camp of the Junior athletes and ‘Hall of Fame’ exhibition.
