Daedo PSS, selected for Manchester Grand Prix

The World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) has decided to use the PSS from the Spanish brand Daedo at the inaugural WTF World Taekwondo Grand Prix, which will be held in Manchester (UK) between the 13th and 15th of December 2013.
Furthtermore, Daedo PSS has also been selected to complement the upcoming edition of the World Team Cup, which will take place in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) from the 28th to the 30th of November.
This second edition of the World Team Cup will be played again following the TK-5 competition system, which was already used at Aruba 2012. This format, which was used for the first time in 2010 (Russia at the WTF World Taekwondo Tour) consists on 5-on-5 team matches, where each athlete of the 5-member teams must compete for one minute each before tagging out in the first round. In the subsequent rounds to follow, an athlete must use three offensive moves before they are allowed to tag out with a teammate.
It must be reminded that the PSS from Daedo has a significant experience as one of the key players of relevant events such as the London 2012 Olympic Games, the Puebla 2013 World Championships and, more recently, the 2nd Intercontinental Asia-Europe Taekwondo Championships, held last weekend in Shenzhen, China.
In addition, the E-Head protector from Daedo is already being used at some competitions and is only pending on a field test organized by the WTF for its approval and further use at official events.
