Manchester is Hosting the first Grand Prix
The first Grand Prix is going to be hosted by Manchester, England. This event will be held between13-15 December 2013. The athletes are going to compete in the four Olympic weight categories to collect ranking points for the Olympic Games, Rio, 2016.
The athletes with 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th standings in this event are going to gain 80, 48, 28.8 and 17.28 points for their Olympic ranking. This event does not have a 4th place.
The preparation camp of I.R. Iran National team began on Tuesday, 12 November under the supervision of Bijan Moghanlou, the head coach and Hadi Afshar, the trainer of the National team.
The following athletes are participating in this camp: Hadi Mostean, Meisam Bagheri, Mohammad Bagheri Motamed, Alireza Nasrazadani, Behnam Asbaghi, Farzad Abdollahi, Hossein Tajik, Sajjad Mardani, Masoud Hajizavareh and Mahdi Khodabakhshi.
