The Champion of Spanish Open 2013
I.R. Iran National Taekwondo Team became the Champion of Spanish Open 2013
The 7th Spanish Open was concluded by the Championship of I.R. Iran National Taekwondo Team.
According to the Public Relations of the Taekwondo Federation, Iran National Taekwondo Team became the Champion of Spanish Open 2013 after gaining 3 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze medals.
The following countries participated in this event: Spain, France, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, Iceland, Netherlands, Serbia, Poland, Isle of Man, Puerto Rico, Morocco, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, Andorra,Lithuania,Scotland,slovakia,USA,Kazakhstan,Switzerland,Austria,Canada,Croatia,Italy,Guatemala,Netherland, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Afghanistan, Bulgaria, Germany, Belgium, France, Britain, San Marino, Turkey, Israel, Luxembourg, Brazil, Belgium, Serbia, Czech Republic, Venezuela and Iran.
The results of the achievement of I.R. Iran National Team:
Meysam Bagheri in the 1st weight category, Payam Ghobadi, in the 7th weight category and Sajad Mardani, in the 8th weight category grabbed the Gold medals.
Ehsan Naghibzadeh, in the 2nd weight category, Mahdi Khodabakhshi, in the 7th weight category, and Msoud Hajizavareh, in the 5th weight category won Silver medals.
Mohammad Khamseh, in the 3rd weight category, Alireza Nasr Azadani, in the 5th weight category, Omid Amidi, in the 6th weight category, and Hadi Mostaan, in the 4th weight category gained Bronze medals.
The I.R. Iran Female National Team also won a Silver medal. This medal was gained by Shokraneh Izadi, in the 7th weight category.
After this victory, I.R. Iran National Taekwondo Team is going to participate in Tunisian Open on May 11th and 12th in order to get prepared for the World Championship in Mexico.
